ATVFC Takes Delivery of New Engine Recently the Athens Township Volunteer Fire Company has taken delivery of a 2008 KME Engine/Pumper. Mounted on KME's Predator Chassis, the engine features full depth compartments, 20 gallon foam system, fold down ladder rack and chevron stripping for traffic avoidance just to name a few. The engine will be house at the Herrick Ave. Station and will our first due piece for most calls. |

Oct. 5, 2008 - Vehicle Fire In the afternoon, Department 24 personnel responded to a vehicle fire on Bradock Road in the Township. Initial reports from the county stated that there may be structures endangered. On arrival, there were no exposures and the vehicle was extinguished in a few minutes. |
